Dr. Morris uses a local anesthetic so you remain awake. Dr. Morris uses the tumescent anesthesia technique for the procedure. This technique involves injecting tumescent fluid (comprised of lidocaine, saline, and epinephrine) into subcutaneous fat to safely deliver anesthesia.
